The Certificate III in Hospitality has been designed as a foundation level qualification for students who have a passion for the hospitality industry. This qualification provides a pathway to work in various hospitality settings, such as restaurants, hotels, motels, catering operations, clubs, pubs, cafés, and coffee shops.

Core hospitality skills and knowledge is covered throughout this program including customer service, the preparation and service of espresso coffee and non-alcoholic beverages, hygienic practices and workplace safety. VETiS - High School Students

There are no mandatory requirements to enter into this course. It is however expected that participants are able to display sufficient English Language, Literacy, and Numeracy skills at a Year 11 level or equivalent. Capacity to complete the assessment items within the required timeframes is required.

Students whom enter into this delivery have invested have an interest and passion for the industry. They have a desire to learn through the practical hands on approach and prior experience through a part time job or similar which will be beneficial.

Participating in this course can: provide credit points towards the attainment of a Queensland Certificate of Education, and/or the attainment of a nationally recognised VET qualification and support young people's transitions to employment, vocational and higher education pathways.

Option 1 Upfront 100% Payment.

You can pay course fees in full upfront through your own pocket either by direct debit or credit card. A direct debit or direct withdrawal of funds can be arranged and scheduled from your nominated bank account. We accept payments by MasterCard or Visa.

Options 2 Payment Plan

You are required to make first instalment before course commencement and make the remaining payments through convenient instalments weekly, fortnightly, monthly or per semester. Terms and conditions apply.

The Certificate III in Hospitality includes the requirement of a minimum of 36 complete service periods (shifts) of practical placement to be completed.
