Accounting is described as the process of recording, analysing, and summarising financial data. It is an incredibly robust and secure industry said to attract individuals with great organisational skills and a high understanding of mathematical processes and applications.
The primary function of an accountant is to prepare and examine a company’s financial records, tax, and business efficiency. Build upon your current accounting skills and gain a solid understanding of tax preparation, budget management, and forecasts, accounting information systems and internal control procedures with this Diploma.

Work functions in the occupational areas where this qualification may be used are subject to regulatory requirements. Refer to the FNS Implementation Guide Companion Volume or the relevant regulator for specific guidance on requirements.
This qualification includes units that comprise an approved Tax Practitioner Board (TPB) course in Australian taxation law and commercial law. Persons seeking registration with the TPB should check current registration requirements with the Board.

International Students
International students must meet academic and English entry requirements as listed below for this Qualification.
Students must provide academic evidence of satisfactory completion of Year 12 or equivalent.
Where English is not the official language in the country of where students are currently residing, evidence of a valid IELTS 5.5 (no band less than 5.0) or any equivalent must be provided. Students will also complete an online English level placement test prior to enrolment.
